Dept of EnergyIST currently provides full time on-site personnel to perform support services including maintenance and upgrades to the DOE Integrated Security Management System (ISMS). Support services include: complete on-site day-to-day system installation and testing, preventive maintenance (PM), corrective maintenance (CM) actions; system modifications; system patching and upgrades; system administration functions; demolitions; relocations; inventory management; dedicated security network status monitoring including C&A requirements; and other duties as assigned for the Government-owned ISMS and related security alarm and access control equipment.
IST also provides subject matter experts with experience in managing and operating the DOE headquarters OCIO infrastructure. OCIO support services provided include support of all information technology at DOE Headquarters. Specifically, IST personnel were responsible for design and support services related to: Active Directory (AD) Implementation, Network Attached Storage consolidation, private cloud implementation, and implementation of DOE's identity, credential and access management (ICAM) initiative.
